Data Protection Policy
1.- Identity of the Controller
GESTAMP SERVICIOS, S.A., with registered address at Calle Alfonso XII, 16, 28014 Madrid, and Tax Identification Number A-82275330 (hereinafter GESTAMP), in the capacity of Controller hereby informs the APPLICANT that personal data included in their CV, as well as any data generated or provided during the selection and interview process, shall be processed in a confidential manner by GESTAMP.
2.- Purpose and legal basis of data processing
GESTAMP shall process the personal data of the APPLICANT for the purpose of managing their candidacy during current or future staff selection/recruiting processes in order to provide employment and/or professional services in GESTAMP and/or in any of the companies of the Gestamp Group. In order to fulfil this purpose, GESTAMP may share APPLICANT’s data with other companies in the Gestamp Group (the identity and address of these companies may be consulted on the WEBSITE: www.gestamp.com) and with third parties with which GESTAMP collaborates on selection processes for the same purpose. The APPLICANT consent constitutes the legal basis for data processing.
3.- Compulsory or optional nature of the requested information
The compulsory data shall be identified as such when requested.
Refusal to provide this information may jeopardise the selection process, with GESTAMP being left with no other choice but to revoke the APPLICANT's application.
4.- Exercising of rights
The APPLICANT may exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancelation/erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to the address indicated above, or by means of an e-mail addressed to dataprotection@gestamp.com identifying their capacity as an APPLICANT in a GESTAMP staff selection process, providing a photocopy of their National Identification Document, or equivalent identification, and specifying their request. Additionally, if the APPLICANT considers that his or her personal data protection rights have been breached, he or she may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
5.- APPLICANT’s obligations with regard to data protection
The APPLICANT undertakes to:
- Provide updated, exact and accurate information when requested.
- Inform GESTAMP of any modification to the information provided, through the procedure indicated for exercising their rights.
6.- Storage of data
If the APPLICANT is unsuccessful in the current selection process, GESTAMP shall keep his or her personal data on file for a period of one year in the event that their application may result interesting for future employment selection processes.
If APPLICANT objects to their data being kept during this period, he or she may exercise their right of cancelation/erasure by following the procedure described above.
After the one-year period has lapsed, GESTAMP may contact the APPLICANT for the purpose of updating their information and renewing their consent to the data being kept on file for another year.
7.- Security measures
GESTAMP has adopted the necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of personal data and prevent their unauthorised alteration, loss, processing or access, taking into account the state of technology, the nature of the stored data, and the risks to which they are exposed.
8.- APPLICANT’s Consent
The APPLICANT declares to have read and understood this document and expressly consents to the processing of their data in accordance with the conditions set forth herein.
